# First Steps

Becoming a Manager is very simple. First you have to [stake ](https://documents.peakdefi.com/for-asset-managers/how-to-for-investors.../staking-peak)at least 1000 PEAK through the Investors Dashboard. After that you can become a Manager by clicking on the „Become a Manager“ Tab on the main homepage and walking through the process to buy Reputation Token.

After the purchase you are ready to go. But be aware, that you can only start trading when the next managing cycle begins.
